Teamwork & Leadership
Work well with others, handle conflict, and lead before you have the title
Beginner to Intermediate4 lessonsabout 22 min of reading
This topic is for freshers starting their first job, students preparing for behavioral interviews, and developers, analysts and support agents who are being asked to take on a bit more responsibility. You do not need a manager title to use any of it. Most of what makes someone easy to work with, and eventually easy to promote, is a set of small habits that can be learned.
By the end you will be able to make ownership and handoffs explicit, choose between async and sync communication, disagree without damaging a relationship, run a calm conflict conversation using a script, influence decisions without formal authority, and delegate and mentor with clear briefs and a useful first 1:1.
The lessons are ordered from working inside a team, to handling friction in it, to leading informally, to leading formally for the first time. Each one includes copy-pasteable scripts and templates and a small exercise you can do this week.
