What we collect
When you try ProfileMatch without an account, we store your resume file, the text and skills extracted from it, and a random session token in your browser — no name or email required. If you sign up, we also collect your name, email, phone (optional), and a hashed password.
How we use it
To match your resume against open roles, run your account (login, email verification), and — only if you've opted in and can unsubscribe at any time — send occasional platform emails. We never sell your data or share your resume with employers without you clicking Apply yourself.
Third parties
Resumes and account data are stored on Amazon Web Services. Job listings are pulled from public company job boards (e.g. Greenhouse) — we don't send your data to them. If this page shows ads, they're served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalize them; you can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from promotional email at any time via the link in every email we send. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us at the email below.
