ProfileMatch (myprofilematch.in) is operated by CadifysAI OPC Private Limited, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, why, and the choices you have.

• Your resume: when you upload a PDF or DOCX, we store the file, the text extracted from it and the skills we detect, so we can match it against open jobs. You can do this without an account.
• Account details (optional): if you sign up, your name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Data stored in your browser: a random session token that links your uploaded resume to your browser, your login token if you sign in, and your Learn and Play progress (XP, streaks, badges and collected tricks). This stays in your browser's local storage; clearing site data removes it.
• Usage data: standard technical information such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics and our servers' logs.
• Messages you send us: for example job applications or support emails.

• To show which open jobs fit your resume, and why.
• To run your account: login, email verification and password reset.
• To email you about new matching jobs, only if you have an account and have not unsubscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To show advertising that helps keep ProfileMatch free.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send your resume to employers. When you apply for a job, you go to the employer's own site and apply there yourself.

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

• Emails are sent through an email delivery provider.
• Job listings are read from public company job boards (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee). We do not send your data to them.

We keep uploaded resumes and account data until you ask us to delete them, so your matches keep working. Data stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.

• Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
• Opt out of personalised ads and analytics using the links above, or block cookies in your browser.

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to stored data is restricted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ProfileMatch is meant for job seekers and is not directed at children. Please do not upload a resume or create an account if you are under 16.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
