Is ProfileMatch really free?
Yes. Uploading your file and seeing your matched jobs costs nothing, and you don't need to create an account to try it.
Do I need to create an account to use it?
No - you can upload your CV and see matches as a guest. Creating a free account just lets you save results and get emailed when new matching jobs appear, so you don't have to re-upload.
What resume file formats are supported?
PDF and DOCX.
How is ProfileMatch different from LinkedIn or Naukri?
LinkedIn and Naukri are large job boards and networks where you search and filter listings yourself. ProfileMatch works the other way round: you upload your resume once, and it ranks open jobs by how well they fit your skills, showing the skills you match and the ones you are missing for each job. Every job links to the company's own career page. Many people use both: ProfileMatch to find where they fit, and their network to get referrals.
How does the job matching actually work?
Skills are detected in your resume and in each job description using a fixed skills dictionary. Your fit score starts as the share of the job's skills that your resume also contains (4 of 5 is 80%; postings naming fewer than 5 skills are scored as if they named 5). It is then lowered, with a note saying why, when the role type or level does not suit your resume, such as an internship when you have years of experience. Jobs come directly from company career pages and are re-checked every hour.

ProfileMatch reads open roles straight from company job boards, so every listing links to the employer's own application page - no middleman form, no recruiter in the way. Browse by role, company or country, or upload your resume above to see which of these jobs fit your skills.
Jobs are read from the public job-board feeds that employers already publish through applicant-tracking platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee, so you always apply on the company's own site.

How to read your match score
Each job shows a percentage based on how well your skills overlap with the skills that role asks for. A score of 70% or more (shown in green) means strong overlap - you already cover most of what the listing requires. From 40% to 69% (amber) is a partial match: open the job and compare the missing skills with your experience before you decide. Below 40% is usually a stretch role or a different specialisation.
To get more accurate matches, list your skills and tools explicitly - for example Java, SQL or AWS - instead of burying them in long sentences, keep your CV as a clean, single-column PDF or DOCX, and upload it again whenever you learn something new.
