Stop 1 of 5 · Bike shop: filling in the order slip

Trick to keep in mind+3 XP

Five boxes on the slip: Who, What, Facts, Limits, Shape.

A well-formed prompt has five parts: role (who speaks), task (what to produce), context (facts), constraints (limits) and output format (shape). Sorting any line of a prompt into one of those boxes tells you what job it does. Names, titles and dates that the model could not possibly know are the facts box, because they are material you hand over, not rules or style.

Read it once, then a question tests whether the trick stuck.
