The error text names the culprit: manifest unknown means that tag is not in the registry.

When a Pod cannot start because its image never arrived, read the event wording rather than guessing. A message that the manifest is unknown or not found says the registry has no such name or tag, so compare the string character by character. Messages about unauthorized access point at credentials, and timeouts point at the network.

Read it once, then a question tests whether the trick stuck.
